Day 47-Small Victories!

Daddy decided to take us out to dinner tonight and decided to get jillian a special treat too. She only had one accident today and were looking forward to the day where there is no more accidents. I know that's pretty far away because she still refuses to go poop in the toilet but were still trying to be optimistic. For right now we want to work on her bathroom routine because she spends about 10 min throwing her panties and pants up in the air instead of actually putting them on her body. But one thing at a time and eventually we will get it right!

Workout: Pure Cardio

Day 46-Cold Turkey

Its easier to stop exercising than to get back exercising cold turkey!

Ive noticed a couple things with this little break I had recently had. Some things I already knew but this just puts it into more perspective.

1. Its really easy to quit or stop working out, but life isnt about having the easiest life. You have to work hard to make yourself better.

2. The more you put in the more you get out. The more time I put into working out, the more I feel better!

3. Once you have a momentum down, don't stop it! I had a real good momentum down and it was working for me but then I got in a rut and instead of "Digging Deeper," I stopped. The workouts were much harder today when I should have breezed by them. Because I haven't worked out this past week the momentum that I had going, with the ease of each workout was gone. I have to work myself back up to the speed I was at in order to feel the ease of each further workout. I don't know if I explained it the way i'm feeling but that's how I felt. The endurance and strength was gone so I have to start over to gain that.

4. Working out is hard and its supposed to challenge you. But if your waking up depressed because you don't want to go through another hard workout, maybe you need to go through your goals again and find a reason to push harder. If that doesn't work, re-examine your working out process and what is more beneficial to you in the long run, falling and braking your ankle during a Power Jump or getting your weight down a little more so you don't have 40 LB weight-bags on your chest that have a mind of their own.

Anyways, these things came into my mind today as I was working out. And I hope tomorrow and the next days will start to get easier as my endurance increases.

Workout-Cardio Power and Resistance

Food:
Breakfast/Lunch-Cereal
Snack-Banana and Apple
Dinner-Baked Chicken and "Baby Beanstalk"(Asparagus!)

Also a little side-note, I will be getting my meal plan from my "Dolce Dietitian" on Sunday so it will give me my portions and things before next week!!!

Days 40-45-Getting Caught Up!

So i'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a while I've been really busy and kinda got stuck in a rut. The workouts that I was scheduled to do were extremely hard, too hard that even a well fit athlete would struggle. Since I couldn't get even halfway through the new workouts I decided to do something a little different and go back to the beginning again. Because I wasn't able to finish the workouts and had next to no energy while doing them, it really had me feel super defeated. But I got to talking with my health coach and dietitian with "The Dolce Diet Team" and she said with the new foods and menu she is giving me it should be a little easier to get through my workouts without feeling too exhausted. If you don't remember my husband Zac Won a chance for me to work with the "Dolce Diet Team" to plan and strategize meals to help me reach my goals. They picked him/me and my story out of over 3,000 people, only 10 were selected and one out of the 10 got to do it for free and that was me! It's a really awesome experience and i'm just so grateful to have been selected. But i'm ready and excited to kinda start over and put myself first again. "The Dolce Diet Team" sent me a personally signed by Mike Dolce himself, autographed copy, of the Dolce Diet Living Lean Book and a Dolce Diet T-Shirt. Thank y'all for continuing to support me and my goals and helping me along the way! I Love Y'all!!!

Day 39-Goals!

So I thought it would be a good idea to post my goals again and to kinda go back and look at those big goals I have. I may not be reaching my goals as fast as I want to but at least I'm reaching them right? If you want to go back and see who is Motivating Me by sponsoring a weight goal here's a link to my first post (http://thewilliamsonwildlings.blogspot.com/2014/07/motivate-me-to-lose-100lbs-or-more.html) But I also wrote another Motivate Me Board to look at while doing workouts.

I usually put it on top of out Entertainment Cabinet so I can look at it and remind myself why I'm doing the workouts and it gives me an extra boost of energy.

Workouts-So I found out I can only be 2 types of wife, Deep Cleaning Wife or Workout Wife! And that my husband will get one of the 2. If there is lots to do around the house, stuff I've kinda been putting off like laundry, ironing, mopping the floors, etc it eats into the time I usually do my workouts. Don't get me wrong I do still clean when I'm a workout wife but I usually don't do that deep cleaning/time consuming stuff because I usually wont have the energy to put into it because the workout took all my energy away.  Anyways, basically all I'm trying to say is that I didn't workout today lol!

Food:
Breakfast-Cereal
Lunch-Protein shake
Snacks-banana, mozz stick
Dinner-Pesto Chicken, Corn on the Cob and Caesar Salad

Day 37-By Far the Hardest Workout So Far!

Today was a pretty good day, nothing too interesting. But my workout was by far, THE HARDEST workout to date. I'm sure it will get better as the weeks progress but it was pretty hard core. Something exciting today was Zac won an 8 week personal session with the Dolce Diet Team (www.dolcediet.com) for me. Mike Dolce is the premier MMA weight loss trainer and is working with two current UFC title holders. So I will be working with his dietitians to fine tune my diet to get the best results. I'm a little bit nervous but also pretty excited!

Here are the books we have and follow for some of our dinners!

Himalayan sea salt
Fresh ground pepper
Soy Sauce

Day 33 and 34-Mourning Migrains

So I've been in a little bit of a rut lately and not really motivated to do a ton of things. My migraines are getting a little debilitating and enabling me to do simple tasks such as getting out of bed before 10 am, Seeing straight, walking without wanting to pass out, wanting to eat, etc. I have been suffering and been diagnosed with Chronic Migraines and possibly Fibromyalgia for a few years now but sometimes I just want to throw my hands up and say i'm done! Having daily headaches that turn into Migraines for 5 days on end is really tiring. I've had several lumbar punctures, eyes checked, CT scans, MRI's, the works! I just learn to live with the debilitating constant pain, not just in my head but all over my body. I'm so grateful for my husband that can see the ever present pain and who can help with the things I've lacked in. Doing the dishes, making me food, changing jillian's poopy diapers because she wont poop in the potty anymore, everything! I LOVE him and i'm so grateful he's here to share my life with even if sometimes it seems too hard. If you pray, please send a prayer my way that i'll be able to have some energy to get back on track with my goals and feel better! Thanks and I love y'all! Oh but on a bright note jillian decided to do her make-up again. This time mommy got pictures!

Day 31-Making my Heart skip a beat!

So as you can tell by some of my other blog posts my daughter is quite "Adventurous!" She keeps me on my toes and there's always something new and different she does everyday! Today she decided to push and open our outside gate outside. She wiggled it back and forth until it opened. Let me preface that she went through 3 things in order to finally be free. One Gate located to get out of her room, One front door that was LOCKED but again she wiggled it until it unlocked(we've always had a problem with our front door and they have tried to fix and replace it) and then the gate leading to the rest of the world. I realized that she was gone again, after I got out of the shower. I noticed that she put her portable potty right next to the gate in her room. So when she didn't answer when I called I went into her room and looked around the house. The front door was closed so I didn't think she went outside. But I finally realized that she was loose when I saw the white gate open outside(pic 3). I quickly got some clothes on and ran outside without shoes. Remember those blisters I got like the first day of doing my blog? She ran out that day too and that's how I really got those blisters. So again, I now have blisters on my feet but also so thankful that I found her. I was power walking all around the apt complex which is quite big. There are 2 sides of complexes and several different units all within the area. We are familiar with going to the pool and I Often let her run to the gate by the pool so I figured I would start there. I walked and walked and walked and finally found her in a neighbors patio talking to herself carrying a bunch of pop-tabs and rocks she found. I was praying as I walked and pleading that she was safe. Our neighborhood Backs up to a baseball field and the front of the complex is on a really busy road. I was walking the outskirts of the complex hoping she didn't go out to the busy road. This is actually her 3rd time getting out. The very first time was when we first moved in and she shimmied the door open and we had them fix it. We found her with an old lady with a bunch of little kittens. The second time was when I got those blisters and 2 girls (about 10 and 14) who were swimming in our pool actually helped me find her. And then this was the third time. Our neighbors are really nice and helpful, Its a really nice neighborhood and they screen people quite extensively before they move in. I hope there isn't a 4th time and were doing everything to ensure it doesn't happen again but im not perfect and I cant always account for people opening the gate like the delivery man, maintenance, etc. She is very active and a smart girl who waits for opportune moments to plan and devise things. Shes also Super Fast!

This is the whole Apt Complex. The Yellow line is the Super Busy Road(Parker Road). Then there is actually a road between the 2 Complexes dividing the 1 bedroom buildings(higher right ones) the 2 bed 2 baths(lower right, Long buildings) and then dividing is a road between those buildings and the left side buildings 2 Bed 1 Bath (the ones on the Left). I hope that makes sense.

This is the gate into her bedroom that I had set up. She added the Portable Toilet to be able to get her legs over the gate and jump down! (re-created.)

Then there was our front door and then this Gate that she wiggled back and forth until it opened.

Day 30-Little Tornado!

So people I guess don't believe me when I say that Jillian makes a mess fast. They always say, "well weren't you watching her?!?!" No I don't watch her at all, in fact, I leave her in the house all by herself while I go run errands and get my nails done! Come on people, Seriously? I leave for a second to go potty or wash my hands or plug in my phone or answer the door or fix jill a snack and its like a tornado went off. This "little" tornado was done in a little less than 20 min TOPS while I was doing the dishes. I say "Little" because shes actually done worse before and made not only messy with toys but messy with POOP too! :)

Day 29-Recovery Week

So this week is Recovery week. Apparently you should let your body rest a little when doing hard Cardio over a longer period of time. But I got to say that even the Recovery DVD was hard. So im not sure how effective the rest will be especially with a 3-year-old! She def keeps me on my toes and questions my sanity hourly lol. She decided though that she would marinate the carpet in her room with the whole Garlic and Herb seasoning bottle, to make it nice and fresh smelling. We literally just bought it and she just decides to dump the whole thing! Ridiculous! But she does have a sweet side to match that fiery side. While still doing laundry today she decides to Leap onto the pile of clean clothes and says,"I go night-night!" I then drop the clothes I just ran through the dryer on top of her and she says, "Awe, nice and warm!" shes so silly but we love her!

Workout: Core Cardio and Balance.

Breakfast-Banana and WW English Muffin with Peanut Butter

Day 28-Chicken Veggieloaf Recipe

So ive had a lot of requests for my Chicken Veggieloaf Recipe I made on Day 23(http://thewilliamsonwildlings.blogspot.com/2014/08/day-23-emergencies.html). So I thought I would post it so others can try and see if they like it too. I am a work on the fly type Chef in my kitchen and I usually throw things all together to make my dish. There isn't a specific recipe when I cook. So these are just guesstimates and can be adapted with other ingredients.

Chicken Veggieloaf

1 Lb. Ground Chicken(breast meat)
1 Tbl. Mustard(you can use any type)
2 tsp. Himalayan Salt
pepper
2 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Onion Powder
1 to 1-1/2 Cup Flax Meal(may need more)
1/2 Cup Steel Cut Oatmeal
1 Squash(I used a yellow one but you can use a zucchini or both!)
3 Carrots
5 Garlic Cloves
1 Cup Cabbage(we had a coleslaw mix that had cabbage and carrots so i just took about a cup of that)
1 medium size white Onion
1 Red Pepper
1 Egg or egg substitute
Ketchup on top
Coconut spray

-You can either put everything in a large bowl or put it in your Kitchenaid mixer to mix it if you don't like touching meat.
-Place first 8 ingredients in the bowl and mix.
-With a grater grate the squash, carrots, garlic cloves, white onion and red pepper over the meat mixture. Their juices will help bind the mixture so you'll use less eggs.
-After veggies are grated throw in the cabbage and mix really good.
-If its kinda crumbly and doesn't really hold a shape throw and egg in there.
-Place the mixture in a greased(I used coconut spray) pan.
-On top of the meat mixture, ice the top of it with ketchup.
-Bake at 350 for about 25-30min or until it reaches an internal temp of 165

***I found it kinda bland the first time I made it and was thinking about what kind of sauce I could put with it. Zac suggested Ketchup so we will have to try it next time!***
