Jillian Elizabeth Marie was born after a very long labor of over 10+weeks. I went into preterm labor at 28 weeks and was on hospital bed rest till about 32 weeks on. I continued to labor and was sent to the hospital a couple more times and than finally my water broke at 38 weeks. But she is a healthy almost 2 year old (July 31st) who is very curious of the world around her. She loves to talk and gets very excited and screams with joy when she sees a cat. Daddy says NO PETS!!! But i'm sure she can bat her beautiful hazel eyes, the sames as mommies at him and he will melt and warm his heart for whatever she wants. She loves shoes and all things sparkly a girl after my own taste, I know daddy doesn't see it yet but YUP he's in trouble.
Zac and I will be married 2 years this coming Oct 14th, 1013. Yes, that is the same day as his birthday for those of you who don't know. He picked that specific date and to his dismay I only give him one present if that to celebrate the combined birthaversary. But once Zac has a Goal in his mind no one can stop him from achieving it.
Zac is a Goal Setter and Goal Getter. I have NEVER met a man that had Goals in mind and actually achieved them. That's one of the many things that attracted me to him. He is building a Financial Advisor company through a group called Managed Wealth Financial (http://www.managedwealthfinancial.com/) Its a part of Transamerica Financial Advisors (http://www.managedwealthfinancial.com/). He was blessed with a gift that a lot of others, including myself, does not possess and that is...talking to people. He can walk up and strike a conversation with anyone and genuinely cares about others and I guess that's why he picked the field he did. To help others plan for the future in a world that lives in the moment.
I'm the last and oldest in our little family and have been told i'm pretty bossy too, but someone has to be right? I'm a very organized and methodical person. That's why I guess I succeeded more in Math than I did in my English classes lol. I'm not perfect or and over achiever but I try to be. Especially when baking, if I don't get it right the first time I must try again to make sure its done perfectly. In a world that is very chaotic and overwhelming sometimes, baking is something I can control and found it to be a great stress reliever. Another stress reliever for me is children, they bring so much love and happiness into my life and are something that lifts up my spirit when i'm feeling down or upset. I'm not sure which direction I may be taking my blog but I hope you'll follow me on my journey and shed a little light on my pathway.
